Many areas in Bengaluru city may face intense power supply disruption as the BESCOM is going to carry out maintenance work from 10 am to 5 pm on September 25, 2025. Many taluk limits on electricity supply are also expected to be impacted.

Bengaluru will carry out maintenance work for 7 hours on September 25, and areas such as BTM Layout, Sahakarnagar, and Jayanagar may be affected. Many hospitals could also face a shortage of power.
Bengaluru Power Cut: Affected Areas:
BTM Layout and Nearby Areas: St John's Hostel, St John's Wood Apartment, Tavarekere, Accenture, Oracle Junction, Christ College, and Gurappanapalya.
Sahakarnagar Areas Affected: Ballari Road, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Shabarinagar Jakkur Layout, GKVK Layout, Sampigehalli Jayasurya Layout, Vidhanasoudha Layout, Sai Baba Layout, Telecom Layout, Kogilu Layout, IAS Road, and Arkavathi Layout.
Jayanagar Outages:
In this region, hospitals like Nimhans, Kidwai, Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Indira Gandhi Hospital may face power supply disruption.
Also, areas like Someshwaranagar, Wilson Garden, Bannerghatta Road, RV Road, IAS Colony, and KAS Colony may get affected.
