Bengaluru Power Cut Today, August 9: BESCOM Announces 8-Hour Electricity Outage in 50+ Areas; Check Full List

Residents in multiple parts of Bengaluru will experience an 8-hour power cut on Sunday, August 9th as the electricity department is going to carry out scheduled maintenance work at the 66/11kV C Station.

According to BESCOM's official notification, power supply will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in multiple localities connected to the station.

The Bengaluru power cut today is a part of routine maintenance to improve the reliability and efficiency of Bengaluru's power distribution network.

Why Is There a Power Cut in Bengaluru Today?

The Bengaluru power cut has been scheduled to facilitate maintenance of incoming and outgoing power lines, transformer bays, 66kV bus GOs, 11kV bus systems, and circuit breakers at the 66/11kV C Station.
