Bengaluru Power Cut Today: BESCOM Announce Power Outages Of 7-Hours On June 24; Check Affected Areas

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced power outages for nearly 7 hours on June 24, on several occasions. Some of the areas to be impacted are Talakaveri Layout, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Navyanagar Block, Batarayanapura, Jakkur Layout, GKVK Layout, and Amrutha Nagar among others.

BESCOM said that there will be quarterly maintenance work in various areas on June 24th that could lead to power outages from 10 am to 2pm, 10 am to 4pm and 10 am to 5 pm.

The 10 am to 2pm power outage will be due to maintenance work carried out by KPTCL.

Bengaluru Power Cut: Affected Areas on June 24

As per the statement, there will be power outages in areas like Talakaveri Layout, Amruthahalli, BGS Layout, Navyanagar Block, Batarayanapura, Jakkur Layout, GKVK Layout, Amrutha Nagar, Sampigehalli, Hosahalli, Rajajinagar, Shivanagar, Manjunathanagar, Agrahara Dasarahalli, Gayatri Nagar, Subramanya Nagar and other places on the 24th from 10 am to 5 pm and in the Sahakarinagar Sub-station area from 10 am to 4 pm.

Further, a report said that due to 10 am to 2pm work, power supply could be impacted in areas like Banagirinagar, Papaiah Garden, Balaji Kalyana Mantapa area, Siddamma & Siddiah Reddy area, South 9th Sub Divisional Office, Jayanagar Divisional Office, 30th Main, 30th Cross, B.N.M. College, B.D.A. Complex, Devagiri Temple, B.S.N.L. Office, Banashankari 2nd Stage, SLV Hotel to 24th Cross, Upahara Hotel, Channammanakere Achukattu, Manjunath Colony, B.M.T.C. Ditto, Rajiv Nagar.

Also, other regions such as Syndicate Bank Colony, Padmanabha Nagar, Raghavendra Layout, Kidney Foundation, Maharaja Hospital, Laxmikanta Kalyana Mandapa, Puttalingaiah Road, Shravanti Apartment, R.K. Layout, Kadirenahalli, Yarab Nagar, 9th Main Road, Mono Type, Teachers Colony, Kaveri Nagar, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, M.M. Industrial Area, Post Office, MMI, Uma Maheshwari Temple (from 15th to 17th D Cross) and surrounding area -- will be impacted.
