Bengaluru Power Cut Today: Several localities in Bengaluru are reportedly facing power outages on Thursday, April 30. Key localities like Sri Srinivasa Layout,B Narayanapura, RPC Layout, etc are reportedly facing power cut due to repair and maintenance work, confirmed Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM).

Karnataka's capital, Bengaluru, is home to multiple millionaires, startup founders and techies. The metro city saw above-normal weather temperature last week and is likely to see some rainfall in the coming days. Amid changing weather conditions, several residents have raised complaints about power outages on social media. BESCOM has shared updates about Bengaluru Power cut today.

Bengaluru localities like Banashankari, S.G. Palya and surrounding areas, Thigalarapalya, Seetharampalya, Basavanagara, Vijayanagar, NGEF Industrial Area, and the National College area in Basavanagudi, were reportedly affected by power supply disruptions on Thursday, April 30.

BESCOM has not issued an official update on the Bengaluru power outage for Thursday. However, in a separate social media posts, the power distribution firm mentioned a fault in transformers, which may have impacted electricity supply in these areas.

Bengaluru Power Cut Today: When Will Power Supply Resume?

Power will be restored in areas affected due to interruption in 66/11KV BSK MUSS F20,F24 Feeder 250KVA by 3:30 pm on Thursday.

"As of now there is an interruption in 66/11KV BSK MUSS F20,F24 Feeder 250KVA Transformer kept Open Due To Pole Broken . Power supply will be restored @ Will be attend on 15:30 hrs (Approximately)," read a social media post by BESCOM.

The 66/11kV BSK MUSS (Banashankari Main Sub-Station) generally serves areas in South Bengaluru, specifically around Banashankari, Padmanabhanagar, and nearby localities

Power supply is likely to be resume by 12:30 pm today in areas affected by 66/11kv Hoody MUSS F10 VL disruption. "As of now there is an interruption in 66/11kv Hoody MUSS F10 VL Kept Open Due To 250KVA Transformer Failure . Power supply will be restored @ Will be attend on 12:30 hrs (Approximately)," read a social media post by BESCOM on X.

The 66/11kV Hoody MUSS (Master Unit Sub-Station) F10 VL (Voltage Line) feeder primarily serves areas around Hoody, Thigalarapalya, Seetharampalya, Basavanagara, Sonnenahalli, and NGEF Industrial areas in Bengaluru.

Power supply is expected to restore by 4 pm today in areas affected by 666/11KV National Collage MUSS F4 Feeder VL interruption. "As of now there is an interruption in 666/11KV National Collage MUSS F4 Feeder VL Kept Open Due To Pole Broken . Power supply will be restored @ Will be attend on 16:00 hrs (Approximately)," responded BESCOM to a complaint on X.

The 66/11kV National College MUSS (Master Unit Substation) likely feeds areas surrounding the National College area in Basavanagudi, Bangalore South.
