Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has not issued any official notification regarding a power cut in Bengaluru on Wednesday, May 20. However, residents have raised complaints about power outages in Munnireddy layout , B Naryanapura - Mahadevpura division, Amrutahalli in Jakkuru, Dr. Shivaram Karanth Nagar, etc. BECOM has confirmed power outage while responding to these complaints on social media.

Bengaluru Power Cut Today: When Will Power Supply Resume?

Certain areas receiving electricity from 66/11KV ITI MUSS F15 Feeder and 66/11KV Sahakaranagara MUSS F17 Feeder are facing power supply disruptions, confirmed BESCOM in separate social media posts on X on Wednesday.

The 66/11kV ITI MUSS (Main Receiving Substation) is located in East Bengaluru, and supplies elecectricity to commercial and residential areas around the Mahadevapura, Doddanekundi, and K.R. Puram areas. the 66/11KV Sahakaranagara Main Receiving Sub-Station (MUSS) distributes power to areas of North Bengaluru.

Power supply disruption due to a malfunction in 66/11kV ITI MUSS (Main Receiving Substation) will resume by 2 pm on Wednesday.

"In reference to your post, As of now there is an interruption 66/11KV ITI MUSS F15 Feeder VL Kept Open For 250KVA Transformer Maintenance Work ,Power supply will be restored @ 14:00 Hrs (Approximately)," read a social media post by BESCOM on X.

Whereas, power outage due to maintenance work in 66/11KV Sahakaranagara MUSS F17 Feeder will be fixed by 1:30 pm on Wednesday.

"In reference to your post, As of now there is an interruption 66/11KV Sahakaranagara MUSS F17 FeederVL Kept Open For UG Cable fault ,Power supply will be restored @ 13:30 Hrs (Approximately)," read another post by BESCOM.
