Bengaluru Power Cut Today, June 25: NO Electricity Up To 7 Hours Across Multiple Areas: Check Complete List
Another round of Bengaluru power cut is going to affect several parts of the city today on June 25. The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will undergo scheduled maintenance and infrastructure upgrade works across multiple 66/11 kV substations. The planned Bengaluru power cut is expected to affect residential, commercial and industrial areas for up to six to seven hours today.

According to information reported by OneIndia, the maintenance work will be carried out across three major power supply zones Yellar Bande MUSS, Rajankunte Sub-station, and Subramanyapura & ISRO Layout Power Station. Residents living in the affected localities are advised to charge electronic devices, arrange backup power if possible during the power outage.
Why Is There A Power Cut In Bengaluru Today?
The Bengaluru power cut today has been scheduled to carry out essential maintenance work on substations and transmission infrastructure. According to KPTCL, the maintenance is being done to improve the electricity supply.
Depending on the maintenance location, electricity supply will remain suspended either from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Those working from home should plan accordingly, while businesses are advised to keep backup power sources ready wherever possible. People are also encouraged to avoid using elevators close to the scheduled shutdown period.
