East Bengaluru localities like Munnekollal, Sri Venkateswara Layout, etc are reportedly facing power outage on Wednesday. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has assured that the power supply will resume in evening.

BESCOM has not issued any official notification regarding a power cut in Bengaluru on Wednesday. However, there was an interruption in 66/11KV Kadubeesanahalli MUSS 31. 5 MVA feeder, which supplies electricity to Kadubeesanahalli Village & Surrounding Areas, Bellandur, Marathahalli & Outer Ring Road, Sakra World Hospital Area,Panathur/Balagere Road areas on Wednesday afternoon.

"As of now there is an interruption ""66/11KV Kadubeesanahalli MUSS 31. 5 MVA Power Transfor mer 1 & 2 tripped due to Differncial relay act Affected Feeders: F1 to F17 Power supply will be restored @ 16:30 Hrs (Approximately)," confirmed BESCOM in a social media post on X.
Bengaluru Power Outage When Will Power Supply Resume?
Areas facing a power cut due to the malfunctioning of 66/11KV Kadubeesanahalli MUSS 31. 5 MVA transformer can see power supply resumption in next one hour. As per BESCOM update, power supply is likely to restored by 4:30 pm.
