Bengaluru Power Cut Today & Tomorrow: BESCOM Carries Up To 9-Hours Power Outage; Affected Areas List

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has declared a host of scheduled power cuts on March 24th and March 25th in various regions of Karnataka. Some of the areas in Bengaluru could be impacted. As long as a 9-hours power outage could be felt in areas such as Kolar, such as the Chitradurga region and Kyasamballi, among others.

Bengaluru Power Cut Today:

BESCOM declared that maintenance work is being held on March 24th from 10 am to 3 pm of the F-7 Kolar Town Feeder lines originating from the 220 kV Kolar Receiving Station.

According to BESCOM, the work of installing poles on March 24th has been undertaken for the consumers of Katharipalya, MG Road, and Feeder that leaves the 220 KV Power Receiving Centre at Kolar.

During this work, there is disruption in the power Aralepet, Doddapet and surrounding areas.

BESCOM Power Cut On March 23, March 24, March 25:

From March 23 to March 25th, BESCOM is carrying its one of the longest power cut from 9 am to 6 pm due to a scheduled reconductoring feeder work in the Kyasamballi branch of the Bethamangala sub-division, F-02 HT.

Affected Areas From March 23, March 24, March 25:

Power supply could be impacted in villages connected to F-02, F-03, F-04, F-11, and F-12 feeders of the Kyasamballi branch. Other areas such as Kyasamballi, Parandahalli, Dodda Ponandahalli, Chikka Ponandahalli, Balla, Guttahalli, Kamasamudram (Parts), Nallur, Ramasandra, Sundarapalya and surrounding rural areas may face electricity disruption too.

BESCOM stated that the agriculture pump sets will resume smooth power supply during the night to ensure farming activity.
