Bengaluru Power Cut Today: Several localities across Bengaluru, Karnataka, reportedly faced power outages on Saturday, May 9, triggering complaints from residents as the weekend began. Responding to the complaints, the Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) assured that the power supply will resume soon.

Responding to these complaints, BESCOM has confirmed power outage in some localities in Bengaluru on Saturday. It has also shared a tentative timeline for power supply restoration.

Areas that receive power supply from "66/11KV Sarjapura Main Receiving Sub-Station (MUSS)" have faced power outage on Saturday, May 9. The power cut is due to infrastructure related damage.

"As of now there is an interruption due to " 66/11KV Sarjapura MUSS F11 Feeder VL Kept Open Due To 2 Pole Broken ," read a social media post by BESCOM on X.

The "66/11KV Sarjapura MUSS" supplies electricity to commercial and residential areas in and around Sarjapura, located in Bengaluru and Bengaluru rural districts.

Bengaluru Power Outage: When Will Power Supply Restore?

The power supply is likely to restore in these areas by 3:30 pm on Saturday. " Power supply will be restored @15:30 Hrs (Approximately)," added BESCOM in its X post.
