Bengaluru Rain Coming Very Soon IMD Predicts Thunderstorms Across Various Cities In Karnataka

According to the latest IMD weather forecast for Karnataka, rain activity is expected to develop across the coastal belt, Malnad region, and both northern and southern interior districts of the state, including Bengaluru, during the next seven days.

Bengaluru Weather Today: Heat Now, Rain Soon

At present, Bengaluru weather today is hot and dry, with rising temperatures making conditions uncomfortable for residents. However, meteorologists indicate that rain in Bengaluru could begin later this week, bringing some relief from the intense heat.
Across northern interior Karnataka, clear skies and high daytime temperatures are likely to persist over the next few days, accompanied by occasional cloud cover. Weather officials say scattered rainfall may start in parts of the region around March 15 or 16, which means a shift in weather patterns.

Rain Likely In Mysuru And Southern Interior Karnataka

Karnataka weather in the southern interior districts, including Mysuru is expected to have light rain at a few places during evening and night hours. Other districts in the region are likely to experience partly cloudy skies along with warm daytime temperatures.

Meteorologists attribute the changing karnataka weather conditions to strengthening winds from the Bay of Bengal, which are carrying moisture into the state. These winds are expected to trigger rainfall across southern interior Karnataka, northern interior districts, Malnad hills and coastal areas over the coming week.

The IMD has also indicated the possibility of thunderstorms developing across all four weather zones of the state, the coastal region, Malnad hills, and the north and south interior areas over the next few days.

Meanwhile, Dakshina Kannada has been experiencing dense fog during early morning hours over the past few days. The mist typically occurs around 9 AM which can cause low visibility conditions for commuters.

Rising Temperatures In Bengaluru Affect Residents

Over the past few days, temperatures have risen sharply across many parts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, leaving many residents struggling with the heat.

Health experts advise avoiding outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours, particularly for children and elderly people, who are more vulnerable to heat-related illnesses. Staying hydrated and limiting time outdoors during the hottest part of the day is strongly recommended.
