Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026: Karnataka To Host Second Edition From November 3rd With Focus on Workforce 2030
The Government of Karnataka is going to host the second edition of the Bengaluru Skill Summit from November 3 to 5, 2026, at The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru as the state is focusing towards the vision of becoming a global talent and workforce center.
Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026 is organised by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood (SDEL), Government of Karnataka and will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, multinational organisations, training institutions, universities, startups and skilling experts to discuss the future of employability, workforce and industry led talent development.

The 2026 edition comes after the successful debut of the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025 in November 2025, which became one of India's largest skilling and employability-focused gatherings.
The inaugural edition reportedly recorded over 6,500 combined footfalls and saw participation from major corporates, government agencies, educational institutions and global workforce organisations.
Karnataka Wants To Build Workforce For 2030
This year's summit will be held under the theme "Workforce 2030: Scale, Systems, Synergy", showing Karnataka's long-term vision to build a workforce ecosystem that is globally competitive, technology-driven and aligned with evolving industry demands.

As industries evolve and global opportunities expand, our focus remains on creating a unified, high-quality skilling ecosystem that enables our youth to compete and succeed at a global level," said Dr. Sharanaprakash Rudrappa Patil, Karnataka's Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Livelihood and Medical Education.
The Bengaluru Skill Summit 2026 is going to focus on the emerging sectors including, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Industry 4.0, Deep technology, Green energy jobs, Global digital workforce & more.
Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025 Highlight
The first edition of the summit in 2025 was successful and one of the biggest announcements during the event was the release of the Karnataka State Skill Development Policy 2025-32, which expects to transform Karnataka into a global skilled talent destination.
The state government approved an outlay of nearly Rs. 4,432 crore for the initiative, supported through public-private partnerships and assistance from agencies including the Asian Development Bank.
