India Vs West Indies T20 2026:
Currently, both the teams have played four matches and they are tied to 2-2. India would want to win the final and fifth match of October 17, to avoid second consecutive T20 loss after their last 2-3 defeat in August 2023 which was away from home.
The 5th match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday.
If the pitches for the first four T20Is were flat, then even a flatter deck is waiting for the final game in Bengaluru. This is probably the best batting venue in India, and there is nothing in it for the bowlers. It has very small boundaries, and even 80-85 meter sixes can reach the top tier, as per KhelNow report. It added, for bowlers, a small error means a six, and change of pace will be the key. Though if it rains, then the wicket might get slow and bowlers can get a little help.
The XI players are predicted to be Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wk), Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer (c), Tilak Varma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mayank Yadav, and Prince Yadav.
In West Indies, the report believes players like Shai Hope (c) (wk), Jewel Andrew, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Roston Chase, Keemo Paul, Shamar Springer, Gudakesh Motie, and Shamar Joseph are XIs.
