As the operation 'Epic Fury' escalates to the 13th Day in Iran, a new buzz has started to circulate which has likely piqued the attention of North Korea. Reports were circulated stating that Israel attacked a North Korean embassy in Iran. Some reports even stated the reaction of North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un who reportedly said, "huge mistake" to Israel. But how much truth does this buzz hold? Did Israel really attacked North Korea embassy in Iran?

Israel's Huge Mistake?

Social media exploded with questions, debates and numerous information sharing when a viral post stated that Israel attacked a North Korean embassy in Iran. To which, Kim Jong Un reportedly said, "Israel made a huge mistake."

The viral posts went as far as saying that Israeli missiles bases that were specifically targeted towards North Korea diplomatic mission in Tehran.

Fact Check: Did Israel Attack North Korean Embassy?

As per a major international news sources, North Korean media and diplomatic channels, there is no evidence that Israel hit a North Korean embassy, nor has Kim Jong Un issued such warning statements to Israel.

It needs to be noted that Kim Jong Un is an ally of Iran and he has in the past condemned Israel and US for their latest war. He called the US-Israel's missiles attack as 'illegal aggression' on Iran. He has also expressed his support for the newly elected supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei after US-Israel's coordinated airstrikes kill Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on March 1, 2026.

A state media, KCNA, cited North Korea's foreign ministry statement, which read as "Regarding the recent official announcement that the Iranian Assembly of Experts has elected a new leader of the Islamic Revolution, we respect the right and choice of the Iranian people to elect their Supreme Leader."

"We express grave concern and strongly condemn the aggression of the United States and Israel, which, by launching an unlawful military attack against Iran, are undermining the foundations of regional peace and security and increasing instability in the international landscape," the North Korean ministry statement added.

US-Israel Vs Iran:

The US and Israel's operation enters its 13-day on Iran. Iran' representative, Amir Saeid Iravani told United Nations that approximately 1,348 civilians have been killed as of now. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced three conditions that could end the war. These are -- US-Israel's recognition of Tehran's legitimate rights, payments of reparations and firm international guarantees against future wars.

On the other hand, neither Trump nor Netanyahu has pulled out from the war, despite signalling that the war on Iran could end soon. No date or timeframe has been fixed as the two countries continue to carry out their intense operation. US wants Iran to give up its nuclear weapon dream, while Israel is fighting for its right to exist as the Islamic Republic country has vowed and chanted the so-called 'Death to America' and 'Death to Israel' narrative.

For decades, Iran proxies like Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon and militias in other surrounding countries have carried out numerous terrorist attacks on Israeli soil, with the latest being the brutal October 7th.

When will the war end? It's uncertain. But for now, the global economy is at the brink of fallout due to the war, as the Strait of Hormuz passage remains shut and vessels in the Red Sea continue to be vulnerable. This has pushed crude oil prices to near $120 per barrel, which has further brought the fear of inflationary risks and hawkish monetary policy likelihood.
