Bel Q1 Results Preview: Bharat Electronics (BEL) is a zero-debt defence PSU giant of India and is in focus on Monday due to its Q1 results today. BEL shares traded cautiously but held above the Rs 400 mark on July 27th on both stock exchanges. In Q1FY27, BEL is expected to report single-digit revenue growth on a YoY basis, while its EBITDA is estimated to fall sequentially. Also, BEL's profitability is likely to be in a narrow range. Investors should focus on order book and timeline for projects executions.

At the time of writing, BEL traded at Rs 405.35 apiece on BSE, broadly flat with market cap of Rs 2,96,301.88 crore. The stock is near its intraday high and low of Rs 408.20 and Rs 404.65 respectively.
BEL's 52-week high and low stood at Rs 473.25 and Rs 361.05 apiece respectively. As of July 27, 2026, the stock's price-to-equity ratio stood at 49.04x and return on equity is about 34.76%.
Bharat Electronics Q1 Results Preview:
According to analysts at Choice Institutional Equities, BEL is expected to record 8% YoY growth in revenue to Rs 4,794.9 crore owing to steady order execution. However, EBITDA is expected to fall 58.2% QoQ but mildly up by 0.7% YoY to Rs 1,246.7 crore in the quarter. Margins are forecasted to compress by 316 basis points QoQ and 189 basis points YoY to 26%.
That said, PAT is predicted to fall by 55.5% QoQ but jump by 2.2% YoY to RS 990.1 crore.
The analysts said to watch out for BEL's order finalization timeline for Satrugat EWS, QRSAM and NGC.
Bharat Electronics Q1 Results Timing:
The result is expected to be out by 4pm on Monday.
Currently, BEL has an order book strength of Rs 73,882 crore, with recent fresh orders of Rs 1,653 crore.
In FY26, the defence behemoth recorded revenue of Rs 27,479.63 crore, which registered a growth of 16.15% YoY. FY26 PAT gained by 14.38% YoY to Rs 6,048.48 crore.
Bharat Electronics Corporate Actions:
BEL has a strong history of bonus issues and dividend payouts, while the stock has split only once in its history.
Dividends; In the last 12 months, BEL delivered dividends up to RS 2.85 per share. While it holds a record of distributing 52 dividends since August 2003, as per Trendlyne data. At the current market price, BEL stock has a dividend yield of 0.70%.
Bonus Issues: BEL is among the top bonus issuing companies under defence basket. The company has allotted three bonuses so far. The last bonus was of 2:1 ratio in September 2022, following 1:10 bonus issue in September 2017 and 2:1 bonus in September 2015.
Stock Split: The company has subdivided its stock only once. In March 2017, BEL carried out a stock split in the ratio of 1:10, which revised its face value to Re 1 each compared to the earlier Rs 10 each.
It will be keenly watched if BEL declares any corporate actions on July 27, especially in the form of dividends. However, BEL has not made any official statement regarding the dividend proposal that will be considered during the board meeting on July 27, 2026.
