New Delhi, January 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address participants of the Bharat Mobility global exhibition on February 2, according to a senior official. The three-day event, commencing on February 1 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, aims to showcase India's strengths to the global market and establish the country as a prominent international player across various industries.

Exhibition Highlights

Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, announced that Prime Minister Modi will deliver a special address on February 2. The exhibition will witness the participation of 10 states, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Rajasthan. With over 800 exhibitors from 50 countries, the expo will spotlight cutting-edge technologies and advancements in mobility.

The event will feature specialized exhibitions, including an auto show showcasing electric and hybrid vehicles, ACMA Automechanika, a large-scale tire exhibition, urban mobility solutions such as two-wheelers, e-bikes, drones, and an EV Infra Pavilion encompassing charging stations, battery swapping, and alternative energy sources like hydrogen in the mobility landscape.

Vehicle Unveiling and Industry Participation

More than 25 leading vehicle manufacturers are poised to unveil new models and electric vehicles (EVs) during the exhibition. Both international and domestic automotive players will showcase their electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel-powered vehicles. In addition to vehicle manufacturers, the event will host over 600 auto component makers, 50 battery firms, 10 tire makers, more than 15 technology startups from the sector, and 5 steel makers.

International Participation and Country Pavilions

Countries such as Japan, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand will have dedicated country pavilions, while additional international participation is expected from the United States, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Italy, Turkiye, Singapore, and Belgium. The event will also feature major international and Indian battery manufacturers, battery supply chain companies, and recycling companies.

EV Infrastructure Services and CEO Conclave

Over 10 leading companies will showcase EV infrastructure services, including charging stations and battery-swapping solutions, during the event. One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the CEO Conclave, where industry leaders will convene to discuss the future trajectory of the mobility industry. The conclave will be chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey.

The Bharat Mobility global exhibition promises to be a significant platform for showcasing India's capabilities in the mobility sector and fostering international collaboration.
