For Delhi Metro commuters, Bharat Taxi services have been introduced at 10 key metro stations across the National Capital Region (NCR) on a pilot basis. The initiative seeks to offer passengers a convenient, transparent and affordable transport option for completing their journeys beyond metro stations.

Delhi Metro Partnered With Bharat Taxi
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has partnered with Sahkar Taxi Cooperative Ltd (STCL) to implement the initiative. STCL is a multi-state cooperative society that operates the mobility platform branded as "Bharat Taxi". As part of the collaboration, the two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last month to improve last-mile transport options for metro users.
Confirming the rollout, a senior DMRC official said that Bharat Taxi services have been made operational at 10 metro stations across Delhi-NCR as part of a trial phase. Under the agreement, Sahkar Taxi will operate bike taxis, auto-rickshaws and cab services through an aggregator-style marketplace model, initially focusing on last-mile connectivity from select stations.
Book Bharat Taxi Through DMRC Sarthi App
A major highlight of the initiative is its digital integration, designed to provide a smooth and unified travel experience for passengers. According to DMRC, commuters will be able to access Bharat Taxi services through app-based platforms that allow them to view available vehicles, check fare estimates, track rides and complete bookings seamlessly.
The Bharat Taxi mobile application, available on both Android and iOS platforms, will be integrated with the DMRC Sarthi app. Once the integration is complete, metro passengers will be able to plan, book and manage both metro and last-mile travel within a single digital journey flow, enabling true door-to-door mobility.
