Bharti Airtel Services Limited, as part of a group restructuring, has signed an agreement to acquire 49,45,239 equity shares, representing a 97.1 per cent stake in Beetel Teletech Limited. This cash transaction will result in Beetel becoming a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel Services Limited.

The acquisition of Beetel Teletech is driven by Bharti Airtel's vision to promote indigenisation within its telecom product ecosystem.
