Big Apple Leak Ahead of Launch: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max & iPhone Fold Specs OUT; Full Details Inside

After the recent launch of the iPhone 17 series, Apple's upcoming release is the iPhone 18 lineup, which is scheduled to release in mid-September in 2026. Amidst all the excitement, fresh leaks around the Apple iPhone 18 specs are making rounds about the upcoming premium iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Apple iPhone 18

According to well-known industry analyst Jeff Pu, Apple is preparing to launch these three models in September 2026, which will be one of the biggest upgrades in recent years. The biggest attraction is the debut of Apple's first-ever foldable iPhone, which could significantly change the company's smartphone strategy.

Apple to Launch iPhone Fold Alongside iPhone 18 Pro Series

As per the latest report published in 9 to 5 Mac, Apple will introduce only three iPhone models in fall 2026: the iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Unlike previous years, the standard iPhone 18 will not launch alongside the Pro models. Instead, it is expected to arrive later in 2027 along with the iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.

Touch ID Set to Return With iPhone Fold

One of the most surprising revelations is that Touch ID may make a comeback on the iPhone Fold. According to Jeff Pu, Apple is likely to use fingerprint authentication instead of Face ID on its foldable phone. This could be due to design constraints and space limitations in a foldable form factor.

Leaks suggest that the Apple iPhone Fold will feature a 7.8-inch internal foldable display and a 5.3-inch external cover screen. The device is said to use a premium aluminium and titanium body, helping maintain durability while keeping the phone lightweight.
With these specifications, Apple's foldable iPhone is expected to directly compete with existing foldable smartphones from Samsung and other brands.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Specifications Leak

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to receive major performance upgrades. Both models will reportedly be powered by Apple's A20 Pro chip, built using N2 silicon technology. This new processor is designed to deliver faster speeds, better battery efficiency, and improved thermal performance. The report further said that another key upgrade is the inclusion of 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, which would be a big jump compared to previous models.
