Bitcoin Gains Sharply By 3.23% Intraday, Ether Up By 3.79%, Market Improves

The cryptocurrency markets have improved marginally today, similar to other assets like gold, and silver. In the past 1 month, Bitcoin has been up by 9.84%, and, the asset has been up by 4.82% in the last 5 days. Today, till 6.05 pm UTC, Bitcoin gained by 3.23% and was quoted at US$ 23,925, in intra day trading. Yesterday, Bitcoin closed at US$ 23,177.30. Today, a sharp fall in the US Dollar index and low US Bond yield helped the alternative assets to stay high in the markets.

Other major cryptocurrencies are also bullish today. Ether was quoted at US$ 1,764.86, up by 3.79%. Yesterday, Ether closed at US$ 1,700.42. Litecoin was quoted at US$ 62.73, up by 2.63%, Dogecoin was quoted at US$ 0.0701 up by 1.63%, and Cardano was quoted at US$ 0.5335 up by 1.06% today, till last traded.

Crypto exchange Zipmex is going to release Ethereum and Bitcoin tokens from this week, allowing 60% of its customers to retrieve their digital assets after a suspension of withdrawals from its Z Wallet product. Reuters reports, "The Singapore-based Zipmex, which also operates in Thailand, Australia and Indonesia, in July halted withdrawals from Z Wallet, which it said had $53 million worth of cryptocurrencies exposed to Babel Finance and Celsius." According to the company's official statement, "Zipmex is exploring all available channels including fund raising, legal action and restructuring."

On the other hand, according to available reports, the US Treasury Department recently announced new sanctions on the popular cryptocurrency mixing service Tornado Cash today, effectively banning US citizens from using the service.
