Bitcoin Price Crashed: BTC Slides Below $92,000, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, DOGE,ADA Under Pressure

The cryptocurrency market today remained under pressure, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin experiencing broad-based selling due to profit booking and weak global risk sentiment. Most major cryptocurrencies declined, dragging the overall crypto market capitalisation lower by more than 2%.

Bitcoin Price

Bitcoin price today slipped below the $91,000 mark, while Ethereum hovered near $3,200, as selling pressure intensified across large-cap tokens. XRP and other leading altcoins also traded in the red.

"The crypto market is trading largely flat as investors assess ongoing uncertainty around U.S.-EU trade tensions. The recent pullback flushed out excess leverage, with nearly $875 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, helping reset positioning and improve market structure." said Akshat Siddhant, Lead Quant Analyst, Mudrex.

Siddhant added that attention has now shifted to the U.S. President Donald Trump's upcoming speech at the World Economic Forum, which could act as a near-term catalyst. "Any constructive commentary on tariffs may support a fresh leg higher. Currently near $92,700, Bitcoin is likely to remain range-bound unless it manages a decisive close above $95,000, while $90,300 continues to act as a strong support," he said.

Bitcoin Price Today

Bitcoin (BTC) price today is trading at around $91,303, down nearly 2% in the last 24 hours. The world's largest cryptocurrency currently commands a market capitalisation of $1.82 trillion, while its 24-hour trading volume stands at $16.96 billion. Over the past week, Bitcoin has fallen more than 4%, although it still shows gains of nearly 3% on a monthly basis.

"BTC has been consolidating around the $93K level following recent US-EU trade war escalation, suggesting near-term selling pressure has eased. The broader risk-off mood supported safe-haven assets, with gold and silver rising toward $4,700 and $95, while BTC moved sideways. Zooming out, bitcoin has remained within a broad $80K-$98K range for nearly 59 days, consistent with previous post-2022 consolidation phases that typically lasted 52-62 days before a breakout." as per the CoinSwitch Markets Desk.

Ethereum Price Today

Ethereum (ETH) price today slipped sharply, trading near $3,105, down 3.6% in the last 24 hours. Ethereum's market cap stands at $374.48 billion, and on a weekly basis, ETH has declined over 6.5%.

Altcoins Under Pressure

Among major altcoins, the BNB price today is trading at $913.18, down nearly 1.6% in 24 hours, while still posting a 6.3% gain over the past month. XRP price today is hovering near $1.94, down almost 2% daily and over 10% in the past week, making it one of the weaker performers.

Solana (SOL) has also come under pressure, with the Solana price today at around $129.07, down 3.7% in 24 hours and more than 11% on a weekly basis. Analysts cite heavy profit booking in high-beta altcoins as a key reason behind the decline.

Meme Coins and Other Tokens

Dogecoin (DOGE) price today is trading near $0.1256, slipping nearly 1.7% in 24 hours and over 15% in the last seven days. Cardano (ADA) is also in the red, trading around $0.36, down 2.4% daily and more than 14% over the week.
TRON is trading at $0.3033, down nearly 3.8% on the day but still posting gains of over 5% on a monthly basis.

Top Gainer in the Market

Bitcoin volatility has compressed to a large extent as the price continues to hover around $92,500. The top gainers for the day include Midnight, which surged by 9.22%; Quant by 6.57%; and Tezos by over 5.67%. Besides, Story drops by more than 10%, followed by Dash by 7.14% and Aster and Chilliz by over 4% each. Despite the downfall, the market sentiments remain neutral, indicating the traders remain hopeful of a strong rebound.
