The BLS Polymers IPO allotment is expected to be finalised today, October 30, after an overwhelming response from investors. The Rs. 255 crore initial public offering (IPO), which was open for subscription from October 27 to October 29, saw a massive overall subscription of 241.22 times.

The BLS Polymers IPO received an excellent response from investors during its three-day subscription period. According to the final subscription figures, the issue was subscribed 241.22 times overall. Non-Institutional Investors (NII) segment leading the subscription race at 559.20 times, followed by Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) at 200.25 times and retail investors at 128.36 times.

For retail investors, the competition was also intense. Based on the application figures, the estimated chances of receiving an allotment could be around 1 in 96 applicants.

The BLS Polymers IPO is also attracting attention in the grey market ahead of its expected listing on November 3.
As of October 30, the current grey market premium stands at Rs. 70 per share, according to InvestorGain. At the upper price band of Rs. 150, this indicates an estimated listing price of around Rs. 220 per share, translating into a potential listing gain of 46.67%. The GMP has increased from Rs. 51 on October 29.
