Booking For Tata Motors Nexon Facelift To Open From September 4; Key Features Here

The much-awaited Tata Motors' Nexon facelift is set to ride on Indian roads. The company recently unveiled the features of Nexon facelift on September 1 ahead of its launch which is expected on September 14. Bookings, however, will begin on September 4 for the SUV.

Nexon facelift is unveiled in 11 variants including Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless+, and Fearless+ (S).

The exterior of the car is packed with aesthetic colour palettes like Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, Pure Grey, Creative Ocean and Fearless Purple.

The newly unveiled car's length, width and height in mm is 3995*1804*1620, while its wheelbase is 2498 mm. The car's engine is equipped with 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron Engine, 1199 cc with 3-cylinder under petrol fuel, while in diesel, the engine is packed with 1.5L Turbocharged Revotorq Engine, 1497 cc with 4-cylinder.

Further, in petrol variant, the power (KW) is at 88.2 @5500rpm and torque (NM) of 170 @1750-4000 rpm. In case of diesel variant, the power and torque are at 84.5 @3750rpm and 260 @1500-2750rpm.

In the interiors, the car has a 10.25" Digital Instrument Cluster and 7-SPEED Dual Clutch Automatic.

In June 2023, Tata Motors achieved a milestone of 50,000 sales mark for its bestselling EV, the Nexon EV. The Nexon EV is currently being sold in over 500 cities across India and has been driven over 900 million km and counting, across varying terrains. This shows the confidence of the 50 K-strong Nexon EV community, who are taking long trips to as far as 1500 KM in a stretch. On average, Nexon EV owners are driving around 6.3 million km in a month on intercity & outstation trips ranging from 100 to 400 km. This was also powered by India's growing charging infrastructure - which has seen a growth of over 1500% between FY21 and FY23.

Also, Tata Motors recently introduced the upgraded Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX at a starting price of Rs 18.79 Lakh (ex-showroom, All India for the 3.3 kW AC charger).
