BPCL Q4FY21 Net Profit At Rs. 11948 Crore; Declares Final Dividend Of Rs. 58/ Share

Oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum Corporation in its quarterly result announcement made today posted income of Rs. 1,00,420 crore as against Rs. 88095 crore in the previous quarter ended December of FY21. The company's income in the same period last year was at Rs. 3,30,662 crore.

Net profit at the company increased substantially from Rs. 2809 crore in the previous quarter (Q3FY21) to Rs. 11,948 crore in the quarter ended March of FY21. The increase in net profit for the period under review is owing to exceptional item income of Rs. 6993 crore. In Q4Fy20, the company posted loss of Rs. 1629 crore.

 

Operating cash flow at the company for the last quarter was at Rs. 20,128 crore, while in the year ago period it was at Rs. 6265 crore.

The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 58/- per equity share (including one-time special dividend of Rs 35 per equity share of Rs 10 each) for the financial year ended 31st March 2021 subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting(AGM). The final dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM. The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 21 per equity share of Rs 10 each paid for the year by the Company.
