BSE Sensex, NSE Nifty Open In Green As Asian Stocks Rally

BSE Sensex opened with the gain of 182.09 points to 60,028.60 and NSE Nifty jumped 80.75 points to 17,683 at 9:15 am tracking positive cues from Asian peers. Nifty Bank rallied 233.1 points to 41067.75 and Nifty Midcap surged 93.7 points to 30,563 in early morning trade on April 11.

Shares of HDFC, SBI, Bank of Baroda, and Vedanta will be in news today.
State Bank of India said that its Executive Committee of the Central Board will hold a meet on April 18 for considering the long term fund raising in single or multiple tranches of approximately $2 billion.

Meanwhile, HDFC board of directors will meet on April 15 to consider dividend for the FY ended March 2023. Bank of Baroda's total business crossed Rs 21 lakh crore, jumping 16.8% YoY to Rs 21.77 lakh crore in the quarter ended March FY23.

Meanwhile, Asian stock markets opened higher with gains on Tuesday as traders eye crucial economic data coupled with earnings later this week. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan surged 0.75%. Japan's Nikkei jumped 1.21%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng rallied 1.58% and Korea's Kospi rallied 0.95%. China's Shanghai Composite declined 0.18%.
