Budget 2020: Entrepreneurship Has Been Strength Of India, Says FM

In her second budget speech, Nirmala Sitharaman says that Entrepreneurship has always been the strength of India. The FM also announced a new scheme for promoting electronic manufacturing of mobile phones, medical equipment.

The FM proposes that there shall be a digital refund of central and state taxes to exporters.

Also, there will be set up a portal based Investment Clearance cell for providing end to end facilitation services at the centre and state level.

Also, with an outlay of Rs. 1480 crore, there has been proposed a Technical Textile Mission for a 4 year period.

For the promotion of industry and commerce development, there has been earmarked an outlay of Rs. 27300 crore, such that government's plan of making every district an exporter's hub is realized.
