Budget 2022: Rs 48,000 Cr Is Allotted For PM Awas Yojana
In her budget statement, the finance minister indicated that Rs 48, 000 crore has been set up for the PM Awas Yojana. In 2022-23, 80 lakh residences would be built for PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries; 60,000 dwellings will be selected as PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries in rural and urban regions, with 60,000 crore allotted for giving access to tap water to 3.8 crore families. In addition, FM stated that 80 lakh homes will be targeted for the affordable housing project in 2022-23. An open platform for the National Digital Health Ecosystem will be launched, according to the finance minister. Digital registries of health practitioners and facilities, a unique health identity, and universal access to health services will all be part of it.
