BYJU’s Appoints Arjun Mohan As India CEO

BYJU's India operations were taken over by Arjun Mohan, the CEO of the edtech firm, the company announced on Wednesday. Mrinal Mohit, the founding partner and outgoing head of BYJU's India business, was followed by Mohan. Mrinal Mohit was the CEO of the India operations and has left the company to pursue personal goals.

Arjun Mohan was the CEO of UpGrad before joining the edtech startup. He was a member of BYJU's founding team and most recently served as the company's Chief Business Officer. He recently returned to the company and has spent the previous three months working closely with Byju Raveendran, the founder and Group CEO of BYJU.

According to a business release, the edtech firm welcomed Mohan back with a well-defined transition strategy.

Arjun Mohan, the new India CEO, stated that while challenges abound, he is eager to assist the edtech company in empowering its current and future generations to compete in a quickly changing world.

On departure of Mohit Mrinal, Byju's said, "Mrinal's contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization, and we bid him a bittersweet farewell. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together."

Byju Raveendran will remain group's CEO while Mohan will manage the India business.
