CBSE Class 12 Exam Schedule

The CBSE Class 12 board examination for the year 2026 began on February 17 and concluded on April 10, 2026. The exams were held in a single morning shift starting at 10:30 am. Each paper allowed 3 hours and 15 minutes, with the extra 15 minutes typically used for reading the question paper before writing answers.

For this examination cycle, CBSE has introduced On-Screen Marking for assessing answer booklets. Evaluators now check scanned copies of scripts on computer screens rather than physical copies.
