CBSE Class 12 Exam Schedule
The CBSE Class 12 board examination for the year 2026 began on February 17 and concluded on April 10, 2026. The exams were held in a single morning shift starting at 10:30 am. Each paper allowed 3 hours and 15 minutes, with the extra 15 minutes typically used for reading the question paper before writing answers.
For this examination cycle, CBSE has introduced On-Screen Marking for assessing answer booklets. Evaluators now check scanned copies of scripts on computer screens rather than physical copies. This method is being used for the first time in CBSE 12th Results evaluation and is aimed at creating a more standardised checking process across different centres.
