CBSE Admit Card 2026 to Be OUT Soon; Check Steps to Download Class 10& 12 Admit Card; Exams Begin Feb 17

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CBSE Admit Card 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations very soon on its official website, cbse.gov.in. Students appearing for the CBSE board exams 2026 will be able to download their hall tickets online, either through their schools or directly from the website in the case of private candidates.

Since the Board Exams are beginning from Feb 17 CBSE may release the Admit card a week before, as per previous years trends. Students are advised to regularly check the official CBSE portal for the latest updates.

CBSE Board Exams 2026 Important Dates

The CBSE board exams 2026 will begin on February 17 and will be conducted in pen-and-paper (offline) mode.

CBSE Class 10 Phase 1 exams: February 17 to March 11, 2026

CBSE Class 10 Phase 2 exams: May 15 to June 1, 2026 (optional)

CBSE Class 12 exams: February 17 to April 10, 2026

CBSE has recently revised the Class 10 and Class 12 exam schedules, extending the Class 12 examination period till April 10, compared with earlier timelines.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026: Key Subject Dates

The CBSE Class 12 exams 2026 will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, except on Sundays. Some important subject-wise dates as per the official schedule are:

How to Download CBSE Admit Card 2026

Regular CBSE students will collect their admit cards from their schools. School authorities will download the admit cards through the CBSE school portal (Pariksha Sangam) using school login credentials.

Steps followed by schools:

Step 1: Log in to cbse.gov.in or Pariksha Sangam portal
Step 2: Enter school ID, user ID, password and security pin
Step 3: Download bulk admit cards
Step 4: Print, sign, stamp and distribute to students

For Private Candidates

Private candidates can download their CBSE Class 10 or 12 admit card 2026 online.
Steps:
Step 1: Visit cbse.gov.in
Step 2: Click on "Pariksha Sangam" or "Admit Card" link
Step 3: Select Class 10 or Class 12
Step 4: Enter application/registration number, date of birth and school/centre number
Step 5: Download the PDF and print multiple copies

Students must carry the CBSE Admit Card 2026 to the examination centre, as entry will not be allowed without a valid hall ticket. Candidates should also carry a valid school ID proof along with the admit card. CBSE has advised students to strictly follow the NCERT syllabus, as exams will be conducted in a single-shift format.
