CBSE Class 10th & 12th Results 2025 Expected Soon; Here's How to Check Results and Download Your Marksheet

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam Results 2024 very soon. Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams can expect the results to be released in the last week of April or the first week of May 2024, according to media reports.

This year, the CBSE board exams for Class 10 were held from February 15 to March 18, while the Class 12 exams were conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024. So as per the previous year's trend, CBSE board exam results are generally released 2 months after the exam ends. So the chances of the result being out in May 2025 are quite high. Lakhs of students across India are now eagerly waiting for their board results.

Once announced, students can access their results through the following official CBSE portals: cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.

To access your CBSE Class 10 or 12 scorecard:

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for "CBSE Class 10 Result 2025" or "CBSE Class 12 Result 2025".

Step 3: Enter your application number and date of birth in the designated fields.

Step 4: Enter all the information and your marksheet will open.

Step 5: You can then Download the PDF of your scorecard and print a copy as well.


Steps to Download Your CBSE Marksheet via DigiLocker

In addition to the official websites, students can obtain their digital marksheets through the DigiLocker platform:

Step 1: Visit digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app.

Step 2: Sign in using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

Step 3: Go to the "CBSE" section under "Education".

Step 4: Select your class (10th or 12th) and enter the required credentials.

Step 5: Download your digital marksheet and other relevant documents.

Please note that the marks available online and in DigiLocker are provisional. Original printed marksheets will be distributed by respective schools shortly after the results are declared.

What If You're Not Satisfied With the Result?

For students who are not satisfied with their results and think they performed better than their mark scored, they can challenge the board. CBSE usually opens options like re-evaluation or rechecking of answer sheets, which can be done once the results are announced and the reevaluation window opens. Additionally, students who failed one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams.
