Central Govt Employees Will See Hike In Salary After 31% DA Hike
The Central government staff is again in for a good news as the government is planning to once again increase Dearness Allowance. The central government employees as well as pensioners will be getting 28% DA from July 1 and the increment was to be paid from July salary.
As per reports, Centre is expected to release DA for June. And if it happens the DA will increase to 31% from 28%. This will result in increase in their salary. The June 2021 DA has yet not been finalized but the AICPI June data, the DA will see a rise by another 3%.
Further in accordance with the salary matrix of 7th Pay Commission, Level I central government employees is from a minimum of Rs. 18000 to a maximum of Rs 56,900.
Calcualtion of salary on maximum basic salary
Calculation as per 31% DA
1. Basic salary Rs 56900 2. New DA (31%) Rs 17639 per month 3. Current DA(28%) Rs 15932 per month 4. Increase in DA Rs 17639-Rs 15932 = Rs 1707 per month 5.
Annual hike in salary Rs 1707X12 = Rs 20484
So, on a 31% DA, the total DA on an annual basis on a basis salary will be Rs.211,668. And if compared from the 28% DA hike, the difference shall amount to Rs 20,484.
