According to the Hindu calendar Drik Panchang, Chhath Puja 2025 will be celebrated from Saturday, October 25th, to Tuesday, October 28th. Here is the Complete Chhath Puja 2025 Schedule

October 25, Saturday: Nahay-Khay

The first day of Chhath Puja 2025 is called Nahay Kahay, which basically means 'bath & eat'. It is done for the purification of body and soul. Devotees take a holy dip in a sacred river or at their homes and prepare pure vegetarian food to begin the vrat.

October 26, Sunday: Kharna

On the second day, devotees observe, Kharna, a day-long nirjala fast (without food & water) and break it in the evening with prasad, which is jaggery kheer and "wheat flour chapati", after which the 36-hour nirjala vrat begins.

October 27, Monday: Sandhya Argh

The third day is the most significant. Devotees offer Sandhya Argh to the setting sun between 5:10 PM and 5:55 PM. People often gather on the riverbank to perform the argh, and some even carry out the process on the terrace or porch of their homes.

October 28, Tuesday: Usha Arghya

The last and the fourth day of the Chhath festival, which is the morning argh, involves worshipping Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya between 5:33 AM and 6:30 AM, after which the devotees break the fast called paran.
