Christmas Holiday: Stock Market To Remain Closed On December 25 For Christmas Celebration
There will be no trading activity on Indian bourses BSE and NSE on Monday (December 25) on account of the Christmas holiday. Trading in the Indian stock market will resume on Tuesday. Besides, there will be no trading in the Currency Derivatives Segments, Equity Derivative Segment and SLB Segment, Commodity Derivatives Segment, and Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment on this day, according to the BSE website. December 25 will be the last trading holiday of the year for Indian financial markets.
The country's capital, debt, forex, and commodity markets will resume the next day, on Tuesday, December 26.

MCX To Remain Closed On Christmas 2023
Commodity exchange MCX will remain shut for both the morning and evening sessions on Monday, and it will commence trading on December 26, as per its website, MCXIndia.com.
According to an NSE circular, financial markets in India will remain closed for as many as an additional 14 days, excluding weekends, in 2024 due to festivals and other holidays.
