Cloudflare Down Today; Outage Disrupts Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox, Groww, Canva, QuillBot, Downdetector & More
Several major online services and websites, including Canva, QuillBot and Downdetector, experienced downtime on December 5, 2025, following a Cloudflare network disruption. Cloudflare, a key provider of internet infrastructure that powers and protects websites worldwide, confirmed the outage, attributing it to "internal service degradation."
Cloudflare Down Today: Upstox, Angel One, Groww and Zerodha Outage
The outage impacted a wide range of services, from trading and fintech platforms to enterprise tools and creative applications, highlighting the extensive reliance on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Trading platforms such as Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox, and Groww reported that users faced difficulties logging in, placing orders, and accessing market data as APIs and backend systems dependent on Cloudflare struggled to connect.

In an update on its status page, Cloudflare stated: "Cloudflare is investigating issues with Cloudflare Dashboard and related APIs. Customers using the Dashboard / Cloudflare APIs are impacted as requests might fail and/or errors may be displayed." Later, the company confirmed that "A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results."
Know What is Cloudflare?
Cloudflare is a US-based internet infrastructure and security company that provides a range of services to keep websites and online platforms fast, secure, and reliable. It acts as a content delivery network (CDN), DDoS mitigation provider, and domain name system (DNS) service, among other functions.
Essentially, Cloudflare helps websites handle large volumes of traffic, protects them from cyberattacks, and ensures users can access services smoothly even during high demand.
Because of its central role in internet architecture, many popular websites, applications and enterprise tools rely on Cloudflare to operate. When the company experiences an outage or internal service degradation, services that depend on its APIs, dashboards, and backend infrastructure may fail to function correctly. This can result in websites going offline, apps becoming inaccessible, and trading or financial transactions being delayed.
Another Cloudflare Outage; Users Report Issues Worldwide
This marks the second Cloudflare disruption within two weeks, with a major outage in November affecting numerous services across multiple regions. Cloudflare provides essential internet infrastructure, including features that protect websites from cyberattacks and ensure accessibility during high traffic, making its stability critical to global digital operations.
Users reported connectivity issues worldwide, and social media platforms were flooded with complaints as services went offline. While Cloudflare has implemented fixes, affected platforms continue to monitor systems for residual issues to ensure complete stability.
