CNG Prices Rise Again By Rs 2 In Delhi And Other Cities, Check New Rates Here

The Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has hiked the priced of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs 2/kg in Delhi-NCR and other cities. The new rates will become effective starting Sunday. After the implementation of the hike, CNG will cost Rs 73.61/kg in national capital, Rs 76.17/kg in Noida, and Rs 81.94/kg in Gurugram.

In Rajashthan's Rewari, customers will have to pay Rs 84.07/kg for CNG. in There is a hike in the prices of CNG in several other cities. IGL has sought to rise the prices of CNG in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, and Meerut to Rs 80.84/kg. Meanwhile, the new CNG prices in Karnal and Kaithal will be Rs 82.27/Kg. And, customers will have to pay Rs 85.40 to get one kg of CNG in Kanpur, Fatehpur, and Hamirpur.

The prices of CNG was hiked by similar amount of Rs 2 on May 15. It is worth noting that today's hike in the prices of CNG is the 13th hike since March 7. Today's hike is the second hike in the month of May alone. Check CNG rates in all cities here

Meanwhile, in the month of April alone, CNG became dearer by Rs 7.50.

The latest hike in the prices of CNG has come at a time when Consumer Price Index Inflation has surged to a new high of 7.8% in the month of April beating all the estimates. This is the biggest surge in inflation since 2014. The rise in the prices has reportedly been linked to the Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
