CNG Rates Hiked In Delhi-NCR, Other Cities From Today: Check Details
With effect from May 15, 2022 (Sunday) at 6 am, the Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased CNG rates by Rs. 2 per kg in Delhi-NCR. Subsequently, CNG is retailing for Rs 73.61 per kg in Delhi, Rs 76.17 per kg in Noida, and Rs 81.94 in Gurugram.

Besides, IGL has also raised gas prices in some of the other cities. In Rewari, CNG is retailing for Rs. 84.07 per kg, Rs 85.40 in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur, Rs 83.88 in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand and Rs. 82.27 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal post the raise.
Since October last year, the city gas distributors have been raising CNG rates periodically after domestic as well as international gas prices began to move higher.
Last year with effect from October 1, the government has raised the price of natural gas by 62% from $1.79 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) to $2.9 per mmBtu under the domestic gas price regime.
