IT services major Cognizant Technology Solutions has announced a 100 percent payout under its discretionary bonus program for 2025, after achieving its internal "Winner's Circle" performance benchmark two years ahead of schedule. The milestone places Cognizant among the top-performing global IT services companies, based on revenue growth and execution metrics.

Cognizant Technology Announces 100% Bonus Payout on Early Target Achievement

The development comes as a major morale booster for Cognizant's workforce, particularly in India, where the company employs the bulk of its over 350,000 global employees.

Cognizant Announces 100 Bonus

As per Moneycontrol report, Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S credited employees for the early achievement and confirmed full bonus funding for 2025.

"Our 2025 results are the direct outcome of your hustle, disciplined execution, and commitment to our clients and to Cognizant. To recognize this effort, I am pleased to share that we have authorized funding our discretionary bonus program at 100 percent," Kumar told Moneycontrol.

The announcement signals strong confidence from management in the company's recent operational turnaround and growth momentum.

What Is Cognizant's 'Winner's Circle'?

The Winner's Circle is Cognizant's internal benchmark used to identify entry into what it defines as top-tier performance among global IT services peers. The original target year for achieving this milestone was 2027, but Cognizant said it crossed the required thresholds in 2025 itself.

According to the company, Winner's Circle status is awarded when Cognizant ranks among the top four companies by constant currency revenue growth within a defined global peer group.

Cognizant Tops Peers on Constant Currency Growth

Cognizant's inclusion in the Winner's Circle was driven by constant currency revenue growth of 6.4 percent in calendar year 2025, the highest among large IT services firms, according to Moneycontrol.

However, direct comparisons are complicated due to different fiscal calendars followed by global and Indian IT companies. While Cognizant reports on a January-December basis, most Indian IT majors operate on an April-March financial year, and Accenture follows a separate fiscal cycle.

Growth Comparison With Global IT Peers

On a like-for-like basis compiled by Moneycontrol, Cognizant outperformed several major rivals:

Cognizant: 6.4%

Accenture: 6.25%

HCLTech: 4.8%

Infosys: 3.15%

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): 0.78%

Wipro: -1.83%

This performance helped Cognizant secure its position within the top four growth leaders among global IT services companies.

Cognizant Bonus Structure Yet to Be Detailed

While Cognizant has approved 100 percent funding for the bonus pool, the company has not yet disclosed how payouts will be distributed across different employee grades and roles.
