Cooking Gas Gets Cheaper: Revision In LPG Cylinder Prices, Check City-wise Gas Price
Among several measures and rules imposed by the government to take into effect from today April 1, 2023, is the revised LPG gas cylinder price across the nation. The price of cooking gas has been reduced to Rs 92, only for commercial cylinders, whereas there was no relief for domestic LPG gas customers and the 14.2 kg gas cylinders. However, last month the centre raised the domestic cooking gas price by Rs 50, as per reporting from DailyHunt.

The government then raised the price of commercial cylinder by Rs 350 and from today there is a reduction of Rs 92. The rates of commercial gas price keeps fluctuating.
Now as per revised rates, the cost of 19kg Indane gas cylinder for major cities is given below.

Last year in April, a 19 kg gas cylinder in Delhi was costing Rs 2,253, which has been reduced to Rs 2028, it declined by Rs 225 only in Delhi.
Last month the government decided to extend the LPG cylinder subsidy of Rs 200 by another year, under under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). Anurag Thakur, Information and Broadcasting Minister made the extension announcement.
