Gold rates in India extended their losing streak for the second straight day on May 27, 2026. The rate of 24 Karat (24K) gold slipped by Rs 60 to Rs 15,844 per gram, while 22 Karat (22K) gold dropped Rs 55 to Rs 14,525 per gram. Over the last two sessions alone, 24K gold prices have tumbled sharply by Rs 10,900 per 100 grams, reflecting growing volatility in the bullion market.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged for the sixth consecutive day, holding steady at Rs 285 per gram and Rs 2,85,000 per kilogram.

Precious metals continued to trade cautiously amid persistent uncertainty surrounding a possible US-Iran deal and fresh reports of Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, developments that have kept investors on edge and limited any strong recovery in gold prices.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

For 1 gram, the price of 24K gold in Delhi today stood at Rs 15,844 after a fall of Rs 60. Meanwhile, 22K gold slipped by Rs 55 to Rs 14,525 per gram, while 18K gold declined by Rs 45 to Rs 11,887 per gram.

For 8 grams, commonly tracked by jewellery buyers, 24K gold prices dropped by Rs 480 to Rs 1,26,752. The rate of 22K gold fell by Rs 440 to Rs 1,16,200, while 18K gold declined by Rs 360 to Rs 95,096.

For 10 grams, 24K gold was priced at Rs 1,58,440 after a decline of Rs 600. Similarly, 22K gold fell by Rs 550 to Rs 1,45,250, while 18K gold slipped by Rs 450 to Rs 1,18,870. On a larger scale, 100 grams of 24K gold in Delhi today cost Rs 15,84,400, down by Rs 6,000 from the previous session.

Meanwhile, 22K gold prices also remained under pressure. The rate for 1 gram of 22K gold slipped by Rs 55 to Rs 14,525. For 8 grams, prices declined by Rs 440 to Rs 1,16,200, while 10 grams of 22K gold were priced at Rs 1,45,250 after a fall of Rs 550. The price of 100 grams of 22K gold dropped by Rs 5,500 to Rs 14,52,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in India

Similarly, 18K gold witnessed declines across all major quantities. The price of 1 gram of 18K gold stood at Rs 11,887 after falling by Rs 45. For 8 grams, the rate dropped by Rs 360 to Rs 95,096, while 10 grams of 18K gold were priced at Rs 1,18,870 following a decline of Rs 450. Meanwhile, 100 grams of 18K gold cost Rs 11,88,700, down by Rs 4,500 compared to the previous trading session.

Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Prices Per Kg and Gram on May 27, 2026

Silver prices in India remained completely unchanged on May 27, 2026, extending their flat trend for the sixth consecutive day amid muted movement in the precious metals market.

The price of silver stood steady at Rs 285 per gram, showing no change compared to the previous trading session. Similarly, 8 grams of silver continued to be priced at Rs 2,280, while 10 grams held firm at Rs 2,850.

On a larger scale, 100 grams of silver remained stable at Rs 28,500 without any movement in prices. Meanwhile, silver rates per kilogram also stayed unchanged at Rs 2,85,000.

"Gold stabilised on Wednesday as investors remained cautiously optimistic that the US and Iran could still secure a peace agreement despite renewed tensions in the Middle East," as per Jigar Trivedi, Senior Research Analyst at IndusInd Securities.
