Crypto Fraud Of Over $200M In UK This Year: Check Other Crypto News

According to the City of London Police, crypto fraud has resulted in losses of more than £146 million ($200 million) in the United Kingdom this year.

Since the beginning of the year, Action Fraud, the United Kingdom's national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime, has received 7,118 allegations of crypto fraud, with an average loss of over £20,500 ($28,000) per report.

Between April 2020 and March 2021, Action Fraud received 558 such investment-fraud reports, with 79 percent of them including cryptocurrency.
