The recent rally in Bitcoin price is backed by optimism among investors regarding the availability of Bitcoin funds on conventional stock exchanges.

The rise in Bitcoin price is on speculations that the United States SEC will give approval for a spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). This if approved would allow investors to get direct exposure to the cryptocurrency through an exchange-listed product. To date, the SEC has approved only ETFs tied to bitcoin futures contracts.
