For seven different days in the month of January, no operations will take place at the Delhi International Airport for around 2 hours each day. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) issued a notice to airmen (NOTAM) that there will be no permission to land or take off between 10:35 am and 12:15 pm on 18, 20-24 and 26 January.
The closure of airspace will be imposed on account of Republic Day celebrations.
If you are flying to or from Delhi on these days, please note that the restriction on flight operations could affect services from all airlines.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police will also be taking additional security measures ahead of the upcoming elections in the National Capital as well as Republic Day Celebrations at all major public locations.
