Delhi Gold Rate Today Nears Rs 1.50 Lakh; Silver Prices Rally: Latest 22K, 24K, 18K Rates on Mahavir Jayanti

Domestic gold prices continued their upward march towards the end of March 2026, extending the week's rally with fresh gains on Mahavir Jayanti. On March 31, 2026, the price of 24 Karat (24K) gold rose to Rs 14,944 per gram, gaining Rs 103, while 22 Karat (22K) gold climbed to Rs 13,700 per gram, up Rs 95 in the latest session.

Notably, over the past two trading days, 24K gold has increased by Rs 122 per gram, while 22K gold has gained Rs 110. Silver prices also mirrored the positive trend, with rates rising to Rs 250 per gram, up Rs 5, while at the bulk level, prices climbed to Rs 2,50,000 per kg, marking an increase of Rs 5,000 on Mahavir Jayanti 2026.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

In the 24 Karat (24K) segment, on Tuesday, the price of 1 gram stood at Rs 14,944, rising by Rs 103 from Rs 14,841 in the previous session. For 8 grams, the rate climbed to Rs 1,19,552, marking a gain of Rs 824 from Rs 1,18,728. The price of 10 grams increased to Rs 1,49,440, up by Rs 1,030 from Rs 1,48,410.

At the bulk level, 100 grams of 24K gold were priced at Rs 14,94,400, registering a strong rise of Rs 10,300 from Rs 14,84,100.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

On Tuesday, the rate for 1 gram of 22 Karat stood at Rs 13,700, gaining Rs 95 from Rs 13,605. For 8 grams, the price rose to Rs 1,09,600, reflecting an increase of Rs 760 from Rs 1,08,840. The cost of 10 grams climbed to Rs 1,37,000, up by Rs 950 from Rs 1,36,050.

Meanwhile, 100 grams of 22K gold were valued at Rs 13,70,000, marking a gain of Rs 9,500 from Rs 13,60,500.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

The price of 1 gram of 18 Karat stood at Rs 11,212, rising by Rs 78 from Rs 11,134. For 8 grams, the rate increased to Rs 89,696, up by Rs 624 from Rs 89,072. The price of 10 grams moved up to Rs 1,12,120, reflecting a gain of Rs 780 from Rs 1,11,340.

At the higher end, 100 grams of 18K gold were priced at Rs 11,21,200, registering an increase of Rs 7,800 from Rs 11,13,400.

Silver Rate Today: Check Latest Silver Price Per Kg on March 31, 2026

On Tuesday, the price of 1 gram of silver rose to Rs 250, gaining Rs 5 from Rs 245 in the previous session. For 8 grams, the rate increased to Rs 2,000, marking a rise of Rs 40 compared to Rs 1,960 earlier.

Similarly, on Tuesday, the price of 10 grams of silver climbed to Rs 2,500, up by Rs 50 from Rs 2,450. At higher quantities, 100 grams of silver were priced at Rs 25,000, registering an increase of Rs 500 from Rs 24,500.

On 31st March 2026, 1 kilogram of silver surged to Rs 2,50,000, rising sharply by Rs 5,000 from Rs 2,45,000.

"In the short term, gold and silver are likely to remain volatile but broadly range-bound, driven by a tug-of-war between safe-haven demand and macro headwinds.
