Delhi-Noida-Greater Noida to Get 30-km Expressway Soon, Directly Connecting to Jewar International Airport

Delhi NCR is set for a major connectivity upgrade with the approval of a new 30-km expressway that will link Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida directly to the upcoming Jewar International Airport. The project is undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and will provide faster and smoother access to one of Asia's largest upcoming aviation hubs.

Expressway Route and Alignment

The proposed expressway will run parallel to the existing Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, tracing the Yamuna River corridor. It will connect Pushta Road with both the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway, creating a seamless link for travellers heading towards Jewar Airport.

Political Backing and Funding

The initiative was first proposed by Gautam Buddha Nagar MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma and has now received strong support from Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. Importantly, officials have confirmed that funding for the project has been assured, ensuring that the construction will not face delays due to financial constraints.
