Will There Be a Power Cut in Delhi Today? Narela, Dwarka, Nehru Enclave, Chhatarpur Among Key Affected Areas

Delhi Power Cut Today: Several areas across Delhi are set to face planned electricity cuts on Friday, April 24, as per the details shared by power distribution firms Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL).

Delhi power disruption is likely to impact areas in North, North-West, West and South Delhi in short blocks. Here are all the details about Delhi power outage on Friday.

Power Outage in Delhi: Schedule For South and West Delhi

Areas under BRPL are likely to face midday outages. Dwarka Sector 8 will see power cut from 12 pm to 1 pm. Nehru Enclave and Kalkaji are scheduled to face two hour power cut between 12 pm and 2 pm.

Jia Sarai near Hauz Khas are likely to see one-hour power outage between 11 am and 12 pm. In Tigri Colony adn parts of Sangam Vihar, residents are likely to face power disruptions between 11 am and 1 pm.

BRPL has described these interruptions as necessary for system strengthening and safety checks in dense residential zones.

Power Cut Today In West Delhi Localities

Localities that receive electricity from BRPL are likely to witness power outage for short windows. Uttam Nagar and Milap Nagar are set to face two hour long power outage between 11 am and 1 pm. Pashchim Vihar localities, like State Bank Colony area may see power shutdown from 10 am and 12 pm.

Vikaspuri localities are scheduled to face power cut between 10 am and 12 pm. Certain areas in Najafgarh and Chhatarpur fringes may also be affected due to power cut today. Sai Baba Enclave and Masudabad in Najafgarh will face a morning cut from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, while Bhati Kalan in Chhatarpur has a brief outage between 11:00 AM and 11:24 AM.

Delhi Power Outage Timing For North-West And North Delhi Location

Several shutdowns aare expected across North-West and North Delhi like F Block clusters. In North-West Delhi, parts of Sector 1 will be without supply from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and again between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. These windows mainly affect F Block and adjacent pockets.

In North Delhi, portions of F Block will also see an early outage from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Siraspur residents should expect a longer disruption, running from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company has linked these cuts to network upgrades designed to handle heavier summer demand across these zones.

Delhi power cut plan for Bawana, Mangolpuri, Narela and nearby belts

Industrial and outer areas in the North-West are also covered in TPDDL's list. Parts of Bawana and nearby industrial belts have two shutdown slots, from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and again from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, mainly affecting F Block Sector 1 and Sector 2 units and nearby establishments.

Mangolpuri, including stretches along Mubarakpur Road, will see power suspended between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. In Badli, parts of Duliya Colony and surrounding industrial pockets may face outages from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. In Narela, areas such as Nangli and adjoining localities will have cuts from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Another scheduled shutdown in Narela covers parts of Nathu Colony and nearby pockets from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
