Delhi Traffic Alert: Travel restrictions and diversions will be in place on key routes of Delhi ahead of the United States Vice President JD Vance's visit to India. JD Vance, along with his wife Usha Vance and three children, will begin his India visit on Monday, April 21.
Due to a special event in Delhi on Monday, travel restrictions will be in place near Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Sardar Patel Road, Panchsheel Marg, Gurugram Road, Air Force Road, etc. Certain routes of Delhi will remain diverted on Monday from 9 am to 9 pm.

Delhi Traffic Alert From 6-9 pm Today
Delhi traffic police has mentioned the following traffic arrangements on Monday from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Delhi Traffic Restrictions
-No parking will be allowed Sardar Patel Marg, Kamal Ataturk Road, and surrounding areas. No vehicle will be allowed to halt as well.
-People are not allowed to park their vehicles or halt them on Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaiya Marg, Air Force Road and other surrounding areas
-No vehicles will be permitted to halt or park on Sardar Patel Marg, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaya Marg, and Air Force Road or surrounding areas from 9 am to 11 am on Monday. Improperly parked vehicles will be towed to Traffic Pit Kalibari Mandir Marg and in front of Bhairon Mandir, according to Delhi Police advisory.
Delhi Traffic Alert Today: Routes To Opt For Lesser Traffic
-Motorists on their way from 11 Murti to RML may use Vande Matram Marg from Dhaula Kuan Flyover to R/A Shankar Road, Talkatora Road and Sheikh Mujib-Ur-Rehman Marg
-Motorists planning to move towards Dhaula Kuan Flyover from IGIA or vice versa may use Rao Tula Ram Marg

Delhi Traffic Police in a social media post has advised commuters to avoid Sardar Patel Marg, Panchsheel Marg, Kamal Ataturk Road, Dhaula Kuan Flyover, Gurugram Road, Parade Road, Thimmaiya Marg, Air Force Road today.
Commuters must avoid these routes in Delhi from 9 am to 11 am on Monday: Air Force Road, Thimmaya Marg, Parade Road, Gurugram Road, and Sardar Patel Marg.

According to Delhi Police's advisory, diversions will be in place on these routes from 6 pm to 9 pm today, Monday, April 21: R/A Tughlaq Road, R/A Claridge, R/A Yashwant Place, R/A Shanti Path-Satya Marg, R/A Satya Marg-Niti Marg, R/A Satya Marg-Nyay Marg, R/A Kautilya Marg, Vande Matram Marg / Simon Bolivar Marg T-Point, Moti Bagh Ring Road, Naraina Ring Road to Moti Bagh via loop, Vasant Vihar to Old Palam Road via Rao Tula Ram Marg, Palam Tanki, Hanuman Mandir near Air Force Station
Delhi Traffic Advisory For Commuters For Monday
Commuters have been advised to avoid bypass on the mentioned roads during the said timings. The police have also urged people to opt for public transport to ease traffic congestion and plan journeys to ISBTs, railway stations and airports accordingly.
