Deloitte To Resign Adani Ports As Auditor After Flagging Concerns

A year after being reappointed as the business's auditor, Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP may leave in the coming days due to disagreements with the management of the company about the auditor's position on certain transactions, according to Bloomberg.

Bloomberg states that a formal resignation announcement is anticipated within the next 3 to 4 days and that the auditor is likely to step down.

The auditor's decision puts a further shadow on Adani business's financial management, which has since January been the target of Hindenburg's accusations regarding the business's debt levels, alleged inappropriate use of tax havens, complicated related party transactions, and related party activities, all of which the group has disputed.
