Dhamaal 4's opening day collection fell short of Total Dhamaal's collection which was to the tune of Rs 16.50 crore in India net on February 22, 2019.

Overall, Dhamaal 4 is the most expensive in the entire Dhamaal franchise with a budget of a whopping Rs 200 crore. Previously, Total Dhamaal which was made with a budget of Rs 90 crore to Rs 100 crore, recorded a total box revenue of Rs 228.27 crore, which is currently the highest in the franchise.

The highest return is still given by the classic-old Dhamaal that cinemas in 2007 and had everyone spooning over the chaos, adventure and just pure comedy. Dhamaal of 2007 has given over 407% returns against the budget of Rs 10 crore.

Dhamaal 4 Review

Taran Adarsh, a movie critic, said, "Dhamaal 4 lives up to its title, taking the madness to an altogether new level... LOL moments in first half, excellent post interval, with tadka of emotions in climax... Don't look for logic - this one's a stressbuster. "

"Director Indra Kumar throws every entertaining ingredient into the mixer - slapstick humour, treasure hunt, pirates, horror, and even an octopus, crocodile, tiger, and snake... #Dhamaal4 delivers exactly what the franchise promises: Dhamaal," Adarsh added.

Meanwhile, a critic said, "Dhamaal 4 is a highly entertaining family package that brilliantly honors the legacy of its franchise while amplifying the scale to massive new heights. Director Indra Kumar delivers a beautifully mounted, fast-paced adventure that completely embraces its signature brand of slapstick humor, wild chases, and lovable chaos. It is a loud, colorful, and thoroughly engaging multiplex entertainer built strictly for the big screen experience."

However, another film critic said, "Dhamaal 4 is terrible," adding "The weakest one from the iconic franchise that fails in most departments. The main issue is that the film fails to deliver entertainment and is largely unfunny. Barring a few funny moments, this one is a DISAPPOINTMENT."

While one critic stated that the first half of the film was good, however, among the drawbacks are the heavy usage of AI slops and some scenes looked exaggerated.

Dhamaal 4 Ratings:

Adarsh has given 3.5 rating out 5. While one critic gave 1.5 star out of 5. Majority has given between 2 stars to 3 stars.
