Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection: The Revenge of Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh has become a blockbuster on the day of its opening despite some shows being cancelled. Not so surprisingly, Aditya Dhar's comeback of Dhurandhar is a goldmine of the Bollywood box office, crossing Rs 100 crore mark in India alone. This makes Dhurandhar 2 the fifth highest grosser on an opening day in the Indian cinema's history. It is racing towards dethroning KGF: Chapter 2's day 1 collection. Dhurandhar 2 has the potential to become the highest-grossing movie of all time in India's history.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 1:

As per the data of Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 officially crossed Rs 100 crore club to hit a net collection of Rs 102.55 crore on the premier day. The overall occupancy was 59.5% with 21,728 shows.

On the basis of language, Dhurandhar 2 bagged Rs 99.10 crore collection in Hindi language with 19,500 shows and 73.6% occupancy, which was the highest. The movie bagged net collection of Rs 2.12 crore in Telugu with 59% occupancy and Rs 1.16 crore was earned in Tamil version with 39% occupancy. Further, Dhurandhar saw Rs 0.8 crore and Rs 0.9 crore collection in Kannada and Malayalam who had an occupancy of 46% and 80%.

It needs to be noted that a lot of Kannada and Malayalam shows were cancelled on March 19th and Aditya Dhar had announced that they delayed to release on March 20th.

Dhurandhar 2 Movie Review:

According to 123 Telugu movie review, on the whole, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a highly satisfying sequel that does full justice to the ticket price. Aditya Dhar respects the audience's intelligence and delivers a solid output that comfortably surpasses the high expectations the film carries. Ranveer Singh's performance is one to remember for a long time, and he is ably supported by Arjun Rampal and the rest of the cast. The political themes may generate discussions, and the songs could have been still better. Nonetheless, do yourself a favor and experience this gem of a film in the best theatre possible. This one is set to obliterate box office records. Highly recommended.

Adarsh has given Dhurandhar 2 a 4.5 star out of 5. While majority of media houses have given 3 stars to 3.5 stars out of 5. 94% on Google liked the movie, and its popularity is of 84% on IMdb.

The film's storyline loosely draws inspiration from multiple real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia, such as Operation Lyari, 2014 Indian general election, 2016 Indian banknote demonetisation and various other events. Shot back-to-back alongside the first part, principal photography began in July 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, and wrapped in October 2025. Filming took place across Punjab, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh in India, and Thailand; with some areas doubling for Pakistan-set sequences. The film features music composed by Shashwat Sachdev, cinematography by Vikash Nowlakha and editing by Shivkumar V. Panicker. Dhurandhar The Revenge introduces Jaskirat Singh Rangi, tracing the chain of events that compel him to become Hamza Ali Mazari, and follows his rise as he operates deep inside Pakistan. The film returns this time in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, as per the official trailer release.

The sequel once again has Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Alongside him, the movie will have a power-packed cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera.

Coming to the predecessor, Dhurandar became the biggest blockbuster of Bollywood of all-time. The 2025 movie witnessed a worldwide box office collection of Rs 1,305.35 crore, making it the best Hindi film and third highest grosser of all time in Indian cinema after Baahubali 2 and Pushpa. The India net collection stood at Rs 838.5 crore, which makes it the fourth best movie in that category, but still the best from Bollywood.
