Dhurandhar Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh Gives First Hit In 2 Years? Check Movie Review, Ratings

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection: Bollywood's popular actor, Ranveer Singh has hit Indian cinema with his Dhurandhar, a movie that is an underworld saga. While the full earnings at the box office are yet to be known, Dhurandhar has already touched a new milestone by ranking fifth in pre-sales booking this year. Dhurandhar recorded over a 300% jump in advance booking. It will be interesting to see if Ranveer Singh ends 2025 with a blockbuster in the form of Dhurandhar.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection:

As per Sacnilk data, as of now, Dhurandhar earned around Rs 10.78 crore in India net on its first day for all languages. This is an early estimate and the full-fledge opening box office collection will be known after Day 1. The movie saw an overall 32.20% Hindi Occupancy on Friday, December 05, 2025.

The movie is making fans go gaga and give a big cheerful thumbs-up to both the cast and its makers. With Ranveer Singh in the leading role along with power-pack casts like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, Dhurandhar is a reminisce of the IC-814 hijacking in 1999 and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.

Counting from Sacknilk also revealed that Dhurandhar's final advance booking on Day 1 stood at Rs 9.23 crore, which posted a massive 301% jump in the past 48 hours. It saw an impressive booking of 2.62 lakh tickets across theatres in India including multiplexes like IMAX and 2D versions.

Will Dhurandhar Become Ranveer Singh's First Super Hit In 2 Years?

The last hit given by Ranveer Singh is Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani which bagged a lifetime box office collection of Rs 153.60 crore. Prior to this, Ranveer Singh has seen a dull box office from 2022 to 2020. His Cirkus in December 2022, Jayeshbhai Jordaar in May 2022 and 83 in December 2021 were either flop or rated as disaster.

That being said, in post Covid, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is the only hit by Ranveer. Before that his Gully Boy had casted a lasting spell on fans which made the movie HIT in February 2019.

Dhurandhar Movie Review:

According to CineHube, Dhurandhar is the kind of film that tries to be INTELLIGENT CINEMA, and at many places, it genuinely SUCCEEDS. The OPENING and CHARACTER sequences grab your attention instantly. The performances are TOP-TIER, and the CLIMAX works smartly to set up the base.

However, the critic added, the film also has its drawbacks. The first half is LONG, extremely DETAILED, and at times feels BORING. The niche camera angles, unusual frames, and heavy focus on technicality might not appeal to someone looking for a straightforward ENTERTAINER. The pace also dips at many points in the first half and Romantic Portions are not needed but it still manages to deliver a GOOD INTERVAL.

Also the review added, the second half picks up really well as it is shorter, more FOCUSED, and well DIRECTED by Aditya.

In terms of performance, Akshay Khanna and Arjun Rampal deliver OUTSTANDING work and are the BIGGEST HIGHLIGHTS of the film, while Ranveer Singh is Decent.

The full rating is yet to be decided. However, the majority of movie parameters have given 3 out 5 star to Dhurandhar. About 85-88% on Google have liked the film.
